I [almost] became an AI sex slave—and your reflections on being asked to write porn helped me escape!

Fascinating story, Steven, thank you for sharing! It’s intriguing to think about how far we’ve come in understanding sexuality, especially now that we’re delving into the depths of our inner worlds. Concepts like Kundalini energy, sacred sexuality, and even sex magic are elevating the conversation, taking the “porn world” to a completely different level, one that aligns with the evolution of consciousness.

It makes me wonder: what does the sexuality of our higher selves look like? There’s such a rich, untapped space here, and it feels like we’re only scratching the surface. The gap between external storytelling and inner awakening is calling to be bridged.

Some good new Sex scenes 🌸🐝

Every book or story I've ever put down seemed to "stop the story" in one way or another. OTOH, The Brothers Karamazov stops the story 4 times every page but still excels.

Is this why (most?) erotica is so...not exactly popular? Because it's only about the diddleberries? Sans story evolution?

I'm taking notes on this for my next story. I've been afraid to write more intimate scenes since I'ma a literary prude and reading or listening to them in stories makes me slightly uncomfortable. Thanks for the insight Steven!

The art piece for this essay is the best depiction of good dramatic pacing I have ever seen. My wife, editor and mentor used pacing to produce several score of what used to be dismissed as “romances” that have become classics in that underappreciated genre. I am using it right now to dig my way out of a stalled project. It is the difference between a “book” and an experience. Thanks for the art and the essay, Steven.
